Paid Personal Days Employee Assistance Program We are looking for a Senior Technical Designer who will be responsible for managing the development of styles across a collection with emphasis on design intent, quality, and construction from initial hand off through style release to manufacturers. This role is accountable for providing the business with product Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Tech Packs. Additional responsibilities include ongoing maintenance and updates of existing styles, special projects/collaborations, and product validation. This role requires high level of communication with the Product team as well as Cross-Departmental collaboration coupled with strong project management and time management skills. Managing Development of styles across a collection on time and with accuracy. Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Tech Packs to ensure accurately produced Finished Product/Goods. Collaborate with the department Sr Director to build a robust Tech pack and accurate Bill of Materials. Partner with Factories to ensure prototypes meet established quality and construction standards.
Collaborate with Design and Size and Fit partners in fittings to ensure collection details, fit and standards are communicated clearly. 4-5 years of working experience within an Outwear Development Role or related position Product Development & Technical Design experience in outerwear is preferred Understanding fabric types, structure and use is an asset Experience working with production, manufacturing is an asset. Experience in fit or pattern making is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator is required Creative, adaptive and broad minded Ability to take initiative to achieve departmental and corporate objectives. Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate. #
