Nanda & Associate Lawyers is seeking an experienced lawyer to join our growing practice, with a focus on general civil litigation, commercial disputes, estate litigation, and mortgage enforcement and power of sale matters. Established in 2003, our firm serves individuals, families and businesses across a broad range of practice areas. We are looking for a lawyer who brings robust advocacy skills, practical judgment and the ability to independently manage files. Managing general civil and commercial litigation, including contractual and business disputes. Handling estate litigation and contested estate matters. Advising on and managing mortgage enforcement and power of sale matters, including related litigation. Assessing claims, developing case strategies and providing practical advice on risks, costs and potential outcomes. Drafting pleadings, motion materials, affidavits, factums,



settlement agreements and other legal documents. Maintaining timely client communication, organized files and compliance with procedural deadlines. Collaborating with colleagues in our corporate, real estate and wills and estates practices. A minimum of 10 years of civil litigation experience, with experience relevant to the practice areas outlined above. Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation files and represent clients in court. Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Rules of Civil Procedure. Excellent drafting, legal research, negotiation and advocacy skills.
