We are looking for Staff Lawyer (full time, one (1) permanent position) with at at least three (3) years of criminal law experience to join our team at the Regina Rural Area Office. Litigation advocacy for LAS clients at every stage as required throughout the criminal law process including judicial case conferences, pre-trials, trials, decision reviews & appeals. Three (3) years of experience in criminal law litigation. Law degree from a recognized law school. Familiarity with the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action; the United Nations declaration on the Rights of Indigenous people. Member in positive standing with the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Valid Driver's License
- Class 5. Technologically savvy with a keen enthusiasm for learning new systems including, computer literacy in MS Office, web-based legal research tools, and other web-based resources.
