Paddy’s Market is currently looking for a Full-Time Cleaner to join our team in Hampton, Ontario.

This is a temporary position providing coverage during an employee’s maternity/parental leave, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and availability.

Job Summary

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment throughout Paddy’s Market.

This includes regular cleaning of our showroom, offices and employee workstations, washrooms, employee lunchroom, designated warehouse areas, and appliances. The position also includes garbage and cardboard disposal, occasional cleaning of company vehicles and equipment, and other general cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willing and able to perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Ability to safely use standard cleaning products, tools, and equipment.




- Ability to remain on your feet for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb, and move throughout the property as required.
- Ability to manually lift, carry, push, and move cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to follow workplace health and safety procedures and instructions.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

This is an active, physical position that involves regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and occasional kneeling or crouching.

The position may occasionally involve working in warehouse or outdoor areas where there can be fluctuations in temperature and exposure to normal workplace conditions such as dust, noise, odours, fumes, and oils.

Mental alertness, physical dexterity, and good hand-eye coordination are required to perform the work safely.

Compensation & Schedule

- Paid on-site lunch breaks
- Overtime after 44 hours per week in accordance with applicable employment standards
- Temporary maternity/parental leave coverage with the possibility of extension

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
