EDPS Property Services is an all- season property maintenance company serving commercial properties across the GTA, including retail plazas, logistic warehouses and hospitals. We're building our snow and ice management team and looking for reliable individuals, who take pride in their work to join our team.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at EDPS Property Services, you'll keep our commercials sites open through every storm. Working at retail plazas, warehouses and hospitals , you'll transparent parking lots, loading docks and drive lanes so customers, trucks and emergency vehicles can get in and out safely. You'll often work on your own overnight, so we're looking for skilled operators who take pride in clean lot and careful work around people, vehicles and property.

Responsibilities:

- Operate wheel loaders/skid steers/ tractors with snow pushers, wing-plows and buckets to clear parking lots, loading docks and drive lanes.
- Stack and relocate snow in approved storage areas while keeping sightlines, fire routes, catch basins and drainage clear.
- Work safely around parked cars, pedestrians, curbs, light poles and buildings.
- Complete pre and post-trip inspections before every shift, including fluids, tires, lights, hydraulics,



attachment and safety equipment and report defects, damage or maintenance needs to your Route Supervisor.
- Keep equipment fuelled, greased and clean.
- Log arrival and departure times and take before-and-after photos at every visit using mobile app.
- Report incidents, property damage or site hazards right away.

Requirements:

- Heavy equipment operator certification or verified minimum 2 to 3 seasons of machine operation in winter environments.
- Experience using snow pushers or wing-plows
- Valid Ontario G licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Comfort working on your own overnight in winter conditions extended periods of time
- Ability to respond within 1 hour to dispatch
- A smartphone, and comfort using apps for photos and check-ins
- Availability for overnight, weekend and holiday call-outs on short notice
