Job Overview:
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our truck drivers and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and a track record of implementing successful safety programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for truck drivers
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for drivers
- Monitor compliance with federal and state safety regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and develop solutions to prevent reoccurrence
- Prepare and maintain accurate safety reports
- Collaborate with management and other departments to promote a culture of safety throughout the company
Requirements:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software programs
