The candidate musthave 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant or Medical Receptionist.

We are seeking an organized Dental/Medical Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting. Portuguese speaking is asset not necessary. Access to a car to drive to either of our 2 locations (mississuaga/toronto).

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, procedures, and insurance.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Maxident, Dentrix or Epic.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Answer phone calls professionally, managing multiple lines as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
- Collaborate with staff and providers to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.




- Keep up-to-date with medical terminology and office procedures to assist effectively.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Dental or Medical Receptionist
- Familiarity with dental software systems .
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Proficient in using phone systems and administrative tools for efficient office management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
