Job Overview
We're looking for a SheetMetal installers Journeyman/Apprentice. Work to invlove doing commerical apartments, Condo's, Warehouse's, commerical retail office and similar other types of jobs. Work to invlove working off ladders, scissor lifts installing and assembling ductwork.
Duties:
- Install HVAC systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements
- Must be physically able to perform physical labor
- Be able to commute to Job sites, sites may change week to week.
- Have their own Tools.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
- Apprentice Level 1
- Valid Manitoba Drivers License
- Able to pass Government clearance checks
- Able to work at Heights aka Scissor lift/ Ladders.
Wage based on education, experience and the ICI Construction and Wage Schedule
