Candidates are invited to apply for the above position to work at Hanover Care Centre, a 30 bed long-term care facility and 45 bed assisted living Lodge, located in Hanover, ON.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Safe storage and handling of food.
- Receiving food supplies
- Working with regular and therapeutic menus
- Working with production sheets
- Able to follow established policies, procedures and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least one of the following:

- Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act required. If enrolled, must complete program within three (3) years of hire date.
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Previous dietary experience preferred in LTC Home.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time




- Ability to read and write English as well as to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
- Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
- Successful candidate must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
- Successful candidate must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of status
- Applicant must be available for call in shifts.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $24.81 per hour
