Job Responsibility: Position Title: Front of House Restaurant Manager Location: Mill Street Brewpub Toronto Employment Type: Full time Reports to: General Manager We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our service team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. As the FOH Manager, you will oversee daily dining room operations, manage front-of-house staff, and work closely with kitchen leadership to maintain smooth service flow. You will be the face of our hospitality and play a key role in shaping the culture and standards of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate all FOH operations including host, bar, and server teams
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate FOH staff
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Monitor and maintain inventory of front-of-house supplies
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely, seamless service
- Manage POS systems, cash handling,



and daily opening/closing procedures
- Track and report on FOH performance metrics

Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory FOH role in a full-service restaurant Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality Organization: Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills Technology: Proficient with POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Certifications (preferred): Food Handler's Certification, Smart Serve Why Join Us?
