Support rehabilitation care with Humber River Health’s Allied Health Services Team across Hennick Humber Hospital and its Finch and Church campuses.

This temporary part time Rehabilitation Assistant position lasts one year and reports to the Manager of Allied Health Services and Outpatient Rehab. You will support Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists while delivering client-centered care under supervision. The work includes treatment interventions, patient education, transfers, charting, and equipment monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for treatment across medical, surgical, specialty, and post-acute units
- Deliver assigned goal-oriented treatment interventions and patient education
- Assist with patient lifting, transferring, and transporting
- Complete timely charting and workload measurement




- Provide cross-coverage services for post-acute patients

Requirements:

- Current Humber River Health experience or recognized PTA and OTA certificate or diploma
- Ability to work under Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist supervision
- Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, stand, and walk for long periods
- Fluent English and availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
