Job Purpose and Impact The Crop Inputs Sales Representative will, with guidance, sell directly crop inputs to the consumer (farmers and producers) or business purchaser or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will conduct face to face and remote sales with recent and existing customers, assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. Key Accountabilities Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships. With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities. Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends. Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers. Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.



Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned #LI-YF1 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of related work experience in the Canadian grain industry, agricultural production or farm management Knowledge of grain and crop input operations and products Experience working with Canola, wheat, and peas. Possess a valid Canadian drivers licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment. Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience CCA certification or ability to gain one Experience using customer relationship management software Position Information Relocation assistance will be provided for this position within Canada.
