BIOVECTRA, part of Agilent's Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships Division, seeks a microbiologist to perform microbiological testing and analysis on pharmaceutical samples. This role involves conducting USP-compliant assays, environmental monitoring, and ensuring GMP compliance at the Windsor, NS facility on rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiological tests including microbial identification, bioburden, and growth promotion testing per USP standards

Record, analyze, and report test results with accurate data integrity and traceability

Conduct environmental monitoring and analyze samples supporting facility utilities and rooms

Ensure all testing and documentation comply with GMP and relevant regulations

Maintain laboratory cleanliness and participate in inventory and sample management

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology

Knowledge of aseptic techniques

Bioburden testing experience preferred

Two years of microbiology laboratory experience preferred

cGMP or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

Proficiency with incubators, autoclaves, and Vitek equipment preferred

Compensation: $49,848.00 - $77,888.00/yr CAD plus bonus, stock and advantages eligibility
