The Tower Service Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of communications equipment on various tower sites. This is a multi-skilled position — we are specifically looking for technicians who bring additional expertise in networking, structured cabling, and/or radio systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting wireless infrastructure, data communications, and telecom services across a range of environments.
Installation and service of PTP and PTMP wireless systems
Installation and testing of structured cabling (Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optic)
Programming and diagnostics of radio communications systems
Proficient with test equipment such as multimeters, watt meters, antenna diagnostics tools, and DTF
Experience with tower climbing, rigging systems, and fall protection procedures
Site surveys and tower inspections
Experience with hand and power tools, testing equipment, and installation materials
Knowledge of telecom networking requirements and standards
Asset

Tower Climbing and Rescue certificate




Successful completion of a Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol test, with ongoing random testing as required by clients
RF & wireless communications knowledge

Working at heights, including ladders, man lifts, and tower structures
