Provide overnight nursing care at Weston Terrace Community in Toronto using sound nursing practice and resident-focused communication. This temporary part-time shift runs 11pm to 7am. Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse supports residents within established policies, physician orders, care plans, and RPN/LPN scope. The position includes resident assessment, family communication, staff guidance, and supervision of assigned Personal Support Workers. Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care according to policies, orders, and care plans

Deliver excellent nursing and personal care

Assess residents during admissions, readmissions, and status changes





Communicate regularly with residents and their families

Supervise assigned Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members

Requirements:

Registered Practical Nurse in valuable standing with the Ontario College of Nurses

Good judgement and ability to identify risk

Ability to foster a positive work environment

Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit

Successful Vulnerable Sector or applicable Criminal Record Check
