This senior position supports capital and sustaining capital projects across surface and underground mining operations. You will develop mechanical systems, manage engineering tasks, and collaborate with process, structural, and electrical teams. Work spans feasibility, detailed design, procurement, commissioning, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop mechanical systems for mining capital projects and upgrades

Design solutions for conveyors, feeders, crushers, and storage systems

Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and three dimensional models

Conduct site visits and support project execution





Develop maintenance strategies improving equipment reliability and lifespan

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

Eight or more years of mechanical engineering experience

Experience with surface and underground mining projects

Knowledge of conveyors, crushers, chutes, pumps, and piping

Qualified Engineer registration in a Canadian province
