Valsef Group
Montreal
We're looking for a high-energy Office Manager with great judgement to run the heart of Valsef's Montreal headquarters, the floor where our founders, executives, and guests come together every day. Valsef Group is a private investment firm headquartered in Montreal, Canada. Founded in 2011, the group manages a diverse portfolio that includes Valnet Inc. (online properties), Valsoft Corp. (vertical market software), Valstone Corp. (industrial integrated system providers), and Permanent Corp. (a permanent-capital acquirer of industrial businesses). The organization is committed to community impact through the Dream Big Foundation, donating 1% of profits to support health, youth, environment, and education initiatives in Montreal.
Valsef is looking for an Office Manager to oversee the operations of our executive office floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and cares deeply about maintaining an exceptional office setting. The floor includes office space, along with our executive lounge, conference rooms, and gym, making it a high-visibility space for collaboration, meetings, and hosting guests. Beyond managing the floor, you’ll oversee the reception desk and serve as the welcoming first point of contact for visitors and employees.
Own the day-to-day management of Valsef’s executive office floor, keeping the executive lounge, conference rooms, gym, and shared spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Monitor office supplies, kitchen inventory, and amenities so everything is consistently stocked and in working order.
Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, and repairs with building management, vendors, and service providers, following through to timely resolution.
Proactively identify and resolve office issues before they become problems.
Oversee the reception desk, welcoming visitors and employees as the first point of contact.
Continuously look for ways to improve the organization, functionality, and overall experience of the office.
Grow with the role over time, with potential to oversee a team or take on other initiatives, such as planning special events in and out of the office.
Experience in office management, facilities coordination, reception, hospitality, or a similar hands-on operational role; experience supporting executives or senior leadership is an asset.
Work directly alongside the founders and senior leadership of a rapid-growing Montreal investment group.
Office perks and health benefits from day one.
