Childcare Centre Supply Educator

Schedule: Monday to Friday between 7:00am to 6:00pm shifts
RECE: $27.05 per hour
Non-RECE: $23.05 per hour
Flexible hours depending on your availability as a Supply Educator
Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children, OR related experience in a childcare setting, working with school-age children is preferred but not required

Education:
Diploma in a field related to childcare such as Early Childhood Education is an advantage
A Diploma in Child & Youth Worker, Child and Youth Care, OCT, Education Assistant, Social Worker, or Recreation & Leisure may also be considered.
Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) is preferred but not required
Up-to-date immunization for TB, Tetanus, and MMR
Knowledge of the Ministry of Education’s How Does Learning Happen framework is an asset.

Willingness to work in an on-call capacity with flexible scheduling




Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, within the 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM time frame.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced, flexible environment with minimal supervision
Flexibility and adaptability to be assigned in multiple locations, with minimal supervision.
