Sunwing Vacations Group

Toronto

The Opportunity Under Sunwing Vacations , we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team and help make vacation dreams come true.
Great design does more than make something look good. The Studio is WestJet Group’s in-house creative team, working across WestJet, Sunwing, WestJet Vacations and SellOffVacations. We bring together writers, graphic designers, multimedia designers, creative leaders and project managers to create work across the full guest journey.
As a Graphic Designer , you’ll help shape how our brands show up in the world. Reporting to the Manager, Creative Brand and working closely with the Group Creative Director, writers, project managers and other designers, you’ll take ideas from early creative exploration through to finished, production-ready work.
You’ll contribute to concepts, develop key visuals and build flexible campaign systems that work across channels without losing the strength of the original idea. Your work could live in a six-second social asset, across an airport, onboard an aircraft or on the aircraft itself.
The Studio works as part of a wider creative ecosystem. Some projects are created entirely in-house, while others are developed with agency and production partners. Concept and design integrated brand and marketing campaigns across WestJet Group’s portfolio of brands.
Collaborate with the Manager, Brand Design, Group Creative Director and writers from the beginning of a brief to develop strong, ownable creative ideas.
Translate approved concepts into cohesive campaign systems that can flex across paid media, social, digital, CRM, web, out-of-home, print, airport, onboard, sponsorship, experiential and internal channels.
Develop key visuals, visual territories, design systems, toolkits, templates and production guidance that allow ideas to scale consistently.
Create thoughtful, high-quality design using typography, layout, colour,

photography, illustration, iconography and other visual elements.
Work with writers to bring verbal and visual ideas together, ensuring copy and design strengthen one another rather than compete for space.
Build clear, persuasive presentation materials that help creative ideas land with partners and senior stakeholders.
Participate actively in creative reviews, presenting work and explaining design choices with clarity and confidence.
Respond constructively to feedback, distinguishing between changes that improve the work and those that require further discussion or creative problem-solving.
Prepare accurate, production-ready files for digital and physical channels, including versioning, resizing, localization, accessibility and final quality control.
Understand channel and production requirements well enough to design work that is both creatively ambitious and technically deliverable.
Partner with project managers to plan work, meet milestones, flag risks early and keep project information current in Monday.com.
Manage your own workload across multiple concurrent projects, communicating clearly when priorities, timing or scope need to be resolved.
Collaborate with agency partners, photographers, illustrators, animators, production companies, printers and other specialists when required.
Support photoshoots, content production and art direction where appropriate, from preparation and reference development through to asset selection and finishing.
Maintain organized working files,

templates and final assets so that other team members can find, understand and build from the work.
Help build a creative culture grounded in curiosity, generosity, high standards and a shared desire to make work people notice.
