Investigate ethical conduct matters for the City of Toronto in a full time, temporary Integrity Investigator position at 375 University Avenue. Apply impartial fact-finding and administrative law expertise.

Working with the Integrity Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, you will review Code of Conduct complaints and MCIA applications. The work includes assessing intake matters, conducting investigations, and supporting advice requests. You will prepare reports and recommendations while protecting confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen complaints and applications for investigation or dismissal

Develop investigation plans and review evidence

Conduct interviews and analyze relevant information

Prepare reports, recommendations, and dismissal letters





Safeguard confidential records and information

Requirements:

Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent education and experience

Considerable experience conducting complex investigations

Experience preparing reports for senior decision-makers

Knowledge of administrative law and procedural fairness

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications

Bring independent judgment, investigative report writing, and legislative analysis to the City of Toronto’s Integrity Commissioner’s Office.
