As a Backend Software Engineer, you will create technology supporting electric vehicles, location and asset data analysis, experimentation, and Lime’s internal messaging platform. The work calls for maintainable code, sound technical reasoning, and effective collaboration with engineers, data scientists, designers, product managers, research, and operations teams.

Solve strategically essential technical problems across foundational platforms

Build scalable, efficient software powering electric vehicles

Analyze location and asset data for backend systems

Respond to incidents and improve service reliability during on-call shifts

At least one year of skilled software development experience

Experience building impactful products or systems

Technical proficiency understanding project design and implementation

Experience with data infrastructure, Ruby, or Go preferred
