Lead open-source embedded software development at QNX through C/C++ expertise, RTOS engineering, and a 50/50 hybrid technical-leadership model.

As an Embedded Development Manager, you will shape open-source technology within QNX’s safety-critical, high-reliability platform. You will combine hands-on development with team leadership across porting, integration, upstream collaboration, and embedded systems engineering. The work supports QNX technology used in automotive, robotics, medical devices, and other industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Port and optimize open-source projects for QNX RTOS

Design integration layers, build systems, and CI/CD workflows

Integrate open-source software with QNX subsystems





Upstream QNX-relevant changes and collaborate with communities

Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to engineers

Requirements:

Significant progressive embedded software experience

Technical leadership and software engineering mentorship experience

Solid C/C++ and hands-on RTOS development skills

Understanding of hardware architectures and cross-compilation toolchains

Experience developing device drivers

Apply embedded C/C++, RTOS, open-source, and leadership expertise to advance QNX platform development.
