Full time fieldwork supports building assessments and restoration projects. Pinchin seeks a Building Science Technologist or Senior Building Science Technologist for its Building Science team. The role suits candidates with architectural or engineering fundamentals and knowledge of building systems. You will assess existing buildings, prepare technical reports, and develop restoration designs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess roofs, cladding, balconies, fenestrations, and parking structures

Conduct invasive assessments, roof cuts, and water tests

Complete project measurements and quantity take-offs

Develop restoration designs, specifications, and AutoCAD drawings





Perform construction reviews and maintain QA/QC protocols

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in architecture, building science, construction, civil engineering, or science

Knowledge of building envelope assemblies

Experience writing technical reports

Ability to read specifications, drawings, and reports

Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, travel availability, and fieldwork capability
