Apply wet assay techniques in Vancouver as a Laboratory Technician, analyzing samples accurately with established methods and instruments. This is a full time, permanent position.

Reporting to the Wet Assay Manager, the Laboratory Technician performs routine and non-routine sample analyses. The work includes reagent preparation, instrument maintenance, chemical experiments, and analytical recordkeeping. Bureau Veritas supports quality, client turnaround requirements, and safe laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze samples using appropriate methods, instruments, and schedules
- Prepare chemical reagents and calibration standards
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments regularly
- Compile analytical study records and quality results
- Follow SOPs,



safety procedures, and applicable ISO standards

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, technical diploma, or equivalent experience
- Ability to handle hazardous chemicals using established procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 kilograms
