Engineering project coordination awaits at YVR for students skilled in construction drawings, stakeholder communication, and organized project support. The placement is in Vancouver.

YVR seeks up to two Engineering Co-op Students for the Engineering Projects Department, starting January 2027. You will support project teams planning and administering construction projects for the Airport Authority. Available assignments include terminal renovation and baggage handling upgrades, or airside civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Project Managers with coordination and contract administration
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Review engineering drawings, standards, codes, and YVR guidelines




- Conduct site inspections and record findings
- Manage micro-projects through initiation and closeout

Requirements:

- Study Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Integrated Engineering
- Bring relevant education or experience for selected projects
- Multitask and manage deadlines effectively
- Read and understand construction drawings quickly
- Communicate effectively and work independently
