Design real products at Fittes as an Industrial Design Co-op Student using SolidWorks, prototyping, and rendering in a hybrid Toronto schedule. This eight-month placement runs January through August 2027.

You will support the Product Innovation Designer and Product Development Manager across product development work. The placement includes 3D modelling, testing, market research, documentation, and product launch support. You will also own a product expansion or improvement through final launch-ready design, plus an automated render workflow for continued team use.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create accurate SolidWorks models and technical drawings
- Build prototypes and operate the 3D printer
- Test prototypes and identify quality issues early
- Research markets,



materials, technologies, and competitors
- Develop an automated product-rendering process

Requirements:

- Industrial Design degree or diploma enrollment
- Eligibility for a January to August 2027 co-op
- Portfolio featuring sketches, models, prototypes, and renders
- At least one year of SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
- Sketch prototyping and 3D-printing experience
