The Strait Regional Centre for Education seeks a Pre-Primary Lunch and Bus Ground Supervisor for a temporary assignment. This position primarily supports Pre-Primary staff during classroom breaks and lunchtimes. Responsibilities include student supervision, reporting concerns, and following SRCE policies and procedures. Experience with children or youth is required, while Nova Scotia ECE Level 1 and regulated childcare experience are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Pre-Primary students before and after school
- Provide classroom support during lunch and noon-hour breaks
- Supervise students boarding and leaving buses




- Report supervision concerns to the principal or designate
- Complete other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide personal and physical student care
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional or volunteer experience working with children or youth
