Build practical electrical engineering experience with ERCO Worldwide in Mississauga through a hybrid, eight-month co-op term supporting plant initiatives.

This temporary Electrical Engineering Student placement runs from May through December 2027. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Electrical & Instrumentation, you will support electrical power systems, automation, instrumentation, control-system modernization, equipment reliability, and engineering documentation. Collaboration spans engineers, plant personnel, project teams, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and organize electrical and instrumentation drawings
- Update single-line, wiring, loop, and control diagrams
- Develop templates, checklists, databases, and calculation tools
- Transfer completed project documents to master locations




- Support engineering documents, standards, and procedures

Requirements:

- Enrollment in electrical, mechatronics, systems, or controls engineering
- Completion of at least second engineering-program year preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to interpret diagrams, P&IDs;, and equipment datasheets
- Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
