This Self Checkout Attendant position supports a positive shopping experience in Walmart Canada’s self service checkout area. You will assist customers, monitor activity, complete required checks, and explain interventions clearly. The work also includes maintaining area standards, responding to alerts, and supporting company programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers using self checkout quickly and confidently
- Monitor activity and complete required checkout checks
- Maintain a clean, secure, organized self checkout area
- Respond to EAS alarms following established procedures
- Return Scan & Go scanners to designated storage
Requirements:
- Friendly, helpful customer service approach
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift equipment
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally 50
- Ability to manage high task volumes effectively
