The Simcoe County District School Board seeks an Educational Assistant supporting academic, behavioral, social, life skills, and co-op development. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, creating a safe, supportive workplace for student learning and integration. The position requires experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and assistive technology, including Google Write and Speak.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students across academic, behavioral, social, and life skills
• Implement behavior management plans and safety plans
• Provide toileting, feeding, lifting, transferring,
  
  
  
  and mobility assistance
• Use assistive technology including Google Write and Speak
• Rotate through grade levels and the Learning Centre

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree or two-year human services diploma
• Required Behaviour Management Systems training
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
