As an Assistant Department Manager, you will support daily bakery operations and uphold company procedures, standards, and policies. The work includes producing baked goods, serving customers, and maintaining food quality and safety practices. You will use commercial bakery equipment while supporting ordering, receiving, rotation, and showcase filling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Uphold company procedures, standards, and policies consistently
- Greet customers politely and deliver Safeway customer service
- Operate mixers, commercial ovens, and donut fryers




- Produce baked goods daily and write orders
- Clean equipment, rotate products, and fill showcases

Requirements:

- Previous bakery retail experience
- Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills
- Health and safety legislation knowledge is an asset
- Post-secondary certification is an asset
- Availability for workdays, evenings, and weekends
