Macfab Manufacturing Inc. produces precision CNC-machined components and subassemblies for analytical instruments, optics, photonics, defence, security, and space industries. As a CNC turning machinist, you will prepare machines, adjust cutting conditions, and inspect parts within tolerance. The work includes prototypes through production volumes, with material traceability supporting customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC turning centres with live tooling
- Load, unload, change, and modify programs as required
- Change, modify, and grind cutting tools
- Adjust feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency
- Measure, inspect, deburr, and prepare machined parts

Requirements:

- Five or more years of required experience
- Fanuc or Haas experience is required
- Training or education in CNC turning is an asset
- Mastercam familiarity is preferred
- Aerospace or job shop experience is preferred
