Warehouse Operations SupervisorPosition SummaryThe Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for achieving company objectives related to safety, efficiency, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy. This role is focused on leading warehouse team members and supporting proactive operational plans related to receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.Location: Winnipeg, ManitobaSchedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00am start time (to be confirmed)What you will doLead employee management and development for warehouse team membersEngage employment agency regarding temporary labourTrain and coach employees on WMS systems and act as a subject matter expertWork closely with staff on all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations for the assigned accountHelp drive goals, targets, productivity, and performance standardsConduct regular formal employee reviews and informal feedback discussions for staff within area of responsibilityAct as the first point of contact for customer concerns and provide exemplary customer serviceEnsure KPIs are achieved for customers and internal stakeholdersEnsure employees are trained and aware of all standard operating procedures and best practicesRun various operational reports, including labour planning for the teamSupport inventory accuracy through follow-up on discrepancies,



product movement, and warehouse processesPromote and enforce protected work practices and ensure team members follow company policies and warehouse safety proceduresCreate a positive, productive, and safe working environmentWhat You'll Bring1-2 years of relevant warehouse experiencePrevious experience in a supervisory or team lead capacityHigh school diplomaPrevious experience on counterbalance and end-rider power jacksStrong computer and keyboarding skillsProficient with Microsoft Office, including ExcelAlong with the following Skills & Competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership skillsGood interpersonal skills and previous experience managing a teamCustomer-centric approach and the ability to manage high client expectationsExperience working in a fast paced, evolving environmentAbility to handle high volumes, multiple priorities, and competing tasksGood analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently, take initiativeFamiliarity with warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and material handlingExperience with WMS systemsKnowledge of health & safety regulations and best practicesSafety related experience specific to MHE, an assetExperience working in a unionized environment is an asset
