Pharmasave McCowan Drug Mart in Markham, ON, is looking for a reliable and patient-focused community pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis from January through August 2027, providing parental leave coverage on a part-time basis.Our established community pharmacy values providing personalized care for our patients, as well as a positive work setting for our team. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently while also being a collaborative and supportive member of our pharmacy team.Provide safe and effective prescription dispensing and medication managementCounsel patients on medications, health conditions, and treatment plansConduct medication reviews and provide appropriate clinical recommendationsAssess prescriptions and identify potential drug therapy issuesCommunicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as neededProvide vaccinations and other expanded scope pharmacy services, as authorizedSupport day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure excellent patient serviceMaintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirementsWork collaboratively with pharmacy assistants and other team membersLicensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of PharmacistsStrong clinical knowledge and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working independently and making sound clinical decisionsProfessional, dependable,
