This experienced Welder Fitter position supports heavy manufacturing production. The successful candidate performs fitting, tacking, and welding to CWB standards while interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. TIG specialization and GMAW or MIG experience are valuable assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG and GMAW welding in production
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Complete fitting, tacking, and welding to CWB standards
- Conduct quality inspections against technical specifications
- Follow WHMIS and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of production welding experience
- Valid CWB Welding Certification required
- Welding Certificate or Diploma
- Heavy material welding experience in industrial settings
