Coordinate nursing staffing at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere while managing schedules, attendance reporting, and daily staff replacements.

This regular full-time Nursing Unit Clerk supports the Nursing Department’s daily staffing coordination. The position updates schedules, communicates absenteeism, and helps maintain a safe, secure workplace for residents, visitors, and staff. AgeCare provides person-centered long-term care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily Nursing Department staffing and scheduling needs
• Arrange daily call-in staff replacements when required
• Update Master Schedule and daily compliments with changes
• Obtain overtime approval from the Director of Care
• Maintain absenteeism reports and communicate recurring concerns

Requirements:

• One to three years’ similar position experience
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Related post-secondary education considered an asset
• Medical or Office Assistant education considered related
• Ability to support resident, visitor, and staff safety
