Bilingual Leave Specialists use English and French to support disability claims, legislated leaves, and sensitive member inquiries. This position provides customer service by telephone and email.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Absence and Administrative Support, Wellness & Disability, the specialist manages disability and leave files for plan members, clients, and internal departments. The work requires ESA knowledge, accurate records, confidential communication, and MS Office proficiency. Cowan Insurance Group is Canadian-owned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and emails professionally
• Register disability claims and legislated leaves accurately
• Interpret ESA requirements and guide clients
• Review forms, certificates,

• Monitor timelines, documentation, and follow-up activities

Requirements:

• Bilingual English and French proficiency, spoken and written
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of ESA legislated leaves
• Ability to apply legislation, policies, and procedures
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
