About Fairgrounds Fairgrounds is a public racket club built on one idea: play belongs to everyone. No membership committees. No dress codes. No gatekeeping. Just courts, community, and the belief that sport should be approachable, not exclusive. We're here to make you sweat, laugh, and meet some people along the way. Whether you're working on your backhand or attempting that ridiculous drop shot for the fifth time, you belong here. The world's too serious. Come play. The Opportunity We have everything a content creator could want: multiple locations across Canada, pickleball and padel being played every single day, coaches, staff, and members with personality, and a brand with real identity. What we need is someone to show up, capture it, and put it out into the world to support our ambition of becoming one of the most recognizable sports brands in the country. This is a hands‑on execution role. You'll be on the courts, phone in hand, making content. You're collaborating with our marketing team on strategy, but you're the one responsible for bringing it to life. If you've been grinding as a (sports) creator and you're looking to join a team, this is the role for you. The Role Shoot, edit, and publish short‑form video content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts on a consistent, fast cadence Capture content at Fairgrounds locations: on‑court action, coaching moments, community vibes, behind‑the‑scenes – bring the brand to life through your lens Some travel will be required for this Execute the content calendar and posting schedule across channels, hitting deadlines and keeping things moving Stay on top of trending audio, formats, and moments, and move quickly when an prospect hits Partner with Fairgrounds' coaches, staff, and community members on camera to get the shots and moments that make great content Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver content for campaigns, location launches,
and brand moments Track your own performance metrics and use them to iterate and improve Support influencer and UGC shoots as needed – help coordinate, capture, and compile Who You Are You see the potential and have the vision to help turn Fairgrounds into an entertaining and engaging sports content machine You live on the internet, not just consuming content, but studying it. You know why things pop before most people can explain it You've made videos. Real ones, published ones. You know how to shoot, edit, and optimize for short‑form You’re scrappy. A phone, a good eye, a mic, and CapCut will do You love sports. Pickleball or padel experience is a plus, but what matters most is that you understand sports culture and community You have robust instincts for captions, hooks, and on‑screen text – you know how to nail them You’re organized enough to manage a content calendar without things falling through the cracks You have 1‑3 years of relevant experience – in‑house, at an agency, or through your own creator journey You have a portfolio or channel you can point us to.
