The Salvation Army seeks a Resident Support Worker for shelter-based resident and program support. You will conduct intake interviews, provide guidance, monitor safety, and encourage healthy life skills and choices. The position helps residents move toward community living and out of shelter systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle resident admissions, orientations, evaluations, and intake interviews
- Enforce policies, provide guidance, and monitor incoming traffic
- Mediate resident conflicts and address late-pass non-compliance
- Record daily happenings, incidents, statistics, and resident information




- Coordinate food hampers and maintain medication and tool records

Requirements:

- Availability for regular part time afternoon weekend shifts
- Ability to provide respectful, qualified resident support
- Ability to follow safety protocols and privacy legislation
- Willingness to work in men's residential housing
- Ability to manage potential verbal or physical aggression
