Serve customers at Walmart Canada in Strathmore through meat preparation, deli service, accurate pricing, and organized department standards. This hands-on role supports daily sales activities.

As a Meat Associate, you help maintain a fresh, inviting shopping experience while living Walmart’s values. You keep merchandise stocked, follow food safety and cold chain practices, and prepare meat, cheese, and fried chicken orders. The work includes protected equipment use, customer service, and health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Keep the meat department clean, organized, zoned, and customer-ready
- Rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products
- Prepare deli orders using slicers, ovens, fryers, and other tools




- Ensure merchandise is correctly signed, priced, and labeled
- Follow food safety, cold chain, and company policies

Requirements:

- Must be 16 or older
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, stock, zone, and organize repeatedly
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally 50
- Ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume workloads accurately
