Build contract drafting and supplier communication skills as a Procurement Associate Co-op Student with CIBC, supporting third-party risk management and reporting.

This eight-month opportunity supports CIBC’s Procurement team and internal business units. You will assemble supplier contracts, balance risks and requirements, and learn CIBC’s models and templates. The work includes analytics, reporting, and professional communication with suppliers and internal risk stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with supplier communication and assigned requests
- Assemble CIBC supplier contracts using models and templates
- Balance contract risks and business requirements
- Create analytics and reporting for procurement activities
- Liaise with internal partners and risk stakeholders

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
- Returning to full-time studies after the opportunity
- Interest in contracts and contract language
- Explicit, simple writing and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and relationship-building abilities
