You will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical design of nuclear tooling and equipment, and taking overall design responsibility for compliance with functional and performance requirements as well as industry/regulatory/safety codes and standards. You will participate in design activities, design reviews, perform calculations/analysis/simulations to verify requirements,



and take engineering responsibility for the design as defined by PEO guidelines.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design/engineering.Proficient in SolidWorks Solid ability to do analysis within SolidWorksExperience with electromechanical sizing and engineering calculations related to loading, etc.Automation backgroundThorough knowledge of drafting principles.P.EngNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience in nuclear industry, working in compliance with CSA N299, N286, or N285 standards.We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.Vacancy:This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position.
