We’re recruiting a Senior Architect on behalf of our client in Charlottetown, PEI.

This is an opportunity for an experienced architectural professional who enjoys leading projects, solving complex design challenges, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Director of Architecture, you’ll work alongside architects, engineers, designers, technologists, and project managers to deliver projects from initial concept through construction and completion.

What You’ll Be Doing Lead architectural projects through all phases, from concept and schematic design through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Develop and present project proposals and design materials to clients, design review boards, heritage committees, and regulatory authorities.

Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, cohesive designs.

Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Provide technical expertise and creative solutions to complex architectural and design challenges.

Conduct building code reviews, site assessments,



and support the development of project specifications.

Participate in construction administration, including site visits, submittal reviews, and project progress documentation.

Mentor and support team members while contributing to a collaborative working environment.

Assist with business development initiatives and proposal preparation as needed.

What You’ll Bring Bachelor of Architecture (B.

Arch.) or Master of Architecture (M.

Arch.) degree.

Registered Architect status, with eligibility for registration with the Architects Association of Prince Edward Island (AAPEI).

At least 10 years of post-graduate professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.

Strong knowledge of the National Building Code, construction methods, cost estimating, and contract administration.

Experience leading projects, coordinating consultants, and mentoring team members.

Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards for quality and technical accuracy.

What’s Offered Salary: $95,000–$125,000, based on experience.
