Job Type - Contract – 6 months with high likelihood of extension

Our client is a leading organization in the retail sector, delivering innovative technology solutions that support critical business operations and customer-facing services.

They are seeking an experienced AI Delivery Manager to support multiple agile teams working on high-visibility initiatives.

Your New Role

The AI Delivery Manager is a senior, independent delivery leader accountable for driving day-to-day execution across assigned AI Pods and initiatives within the AIDA AI Operating Model.

The role translates business priorities into executable plans and coordinates Product, Business, AI Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, Data Platform, Security, Operations, and IT partners.

This is not a Scrum Master, project coordinator, meeting facilitator, or reporting-only role.

The Delivery Manager owns the delivery management process and execution coordination; business and technical owners retain accountability for their decisions, approvals, solutions, and oues.

Key responsibilities include: 1.

Delivery Leadership• Convert priorities into plans with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, decision points, forecasts, and accountable owners.• Proactively drive execution, resolve gaps, and maintain realisticmitments.• Coordinate UAT, go/no-go decisions, release readiness, deployment, and operational handoffs.2.ernance, RACI, and Intake• Partner with AI leadership to design, document, implement, and improve a practical, reliable intake process and AI Operating Model.• Own and maintain the delivery RACI, decision rights, handoffs,ernance documentation, and escalation paths.3.munication and Follow-Through• Translate approved Operating Model, RACI, and intake decisions into clear guidance, actions, owners, and timelines.•municate decisions consistently and drive implementation follow-up across Business Partner, Product, AI, and IT teams.4.





Stakeholder Leadership• Independently engage stakeholders and organize working sessions.• Identify missing sponsors or decision-makers.• Challenge unclear scope, unrealistic timelines, and unassigned dependencies.• Escalate issues with context, impact, options, and rmendations.5. AI Deliveryplexity• Manage uncertainty from discovery and experimentation through pilots and production.• Distinguish prototypepletion from business readiness.• Coordinate data, integration, evaluation, reliability, monitoring, platform capacity, cost, and operational dependencies.• Re-plan when findings change.

The role is not accountable for model accuracy, architecture design, or technical implementation.

Core Delivery Outputs• Integrated portfolio roadmap and forecasts.• Initiative delivery plans.• Current RACI and handoff map.• Intake and Operating Model guidance.• RAID, action, and decision trackers.• Capacity and resource dependency visibility.• Weekly executive status reports and escalations.• UAT, release, and transition checklists.• Adoption and value tracking with business owners.

Artifacts must be lightweight, current, and decision-oriented.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Must-Have Qualifications

Required• 7+ years of delivery, program management, or technology leadership experience.• Experience deliveringplex enterprise technology programs.• Experience leading cross-functional Agile teams.• Experience managing concurrent initiatives, roadmaps, risks, and portfolioernance.• Solid SDLC, stakeholder management, and executivemunication capabilities.

Preferred• AI/ML, Generative AI, Data Science, Analytics, or Data Platform delivery experience.• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure).• Familiarity with the AI lifecycle, Agentic AI, RAG, LLM applications, or conversational AI.• Relevant retail or enterprise-domain experience.
