Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Forklift Operator (Counterbalance) for a leading manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario .

This is an excellent opportunity for safety-focused individuals with forklift experience looking to join a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of counterbalance forklifts and material handling equipment, ensuring timely movement of raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

This role plays a critical part in supporting production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Here's why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and Combi Lift equipment Transport, stage, load, unload, and store materials throughout the facility Complete daily forklift inspections and maintenance checks before each shift Support production by ensuring racking stations and packing areas remain supplied with materials Safely stack and organize finished and unfinished products Assist with shipping, receiving, and staging outbound orders Maintain organized warehouse, dock, and storage areas Remove cardboard, wood, scrap materials, and other waste as required Ensure walkways and work areas remain clean, safe, and accessible Empty sludge bins and balers as needed Organize lumber and warehouse inventory efficiently Support packing and racking operations during busy periods Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards,



and workplace policies Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager Qualifications and Skills: Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace Fast-paced production setting Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands Safety footwear and other required PPE must be worn Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Preferred Experience operating a Combi Lift Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production facilities Experience handling heavy or oversized materials Experience moving long loads and materials exceeding 35 feet in length Skills & Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Robust attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Ability to work independently and within a team environment Professional and positive attitude Basic computer skills Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure Knowledge of occupational health and safety best practices Are you interested in this position?
