Support mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance as an Industrial Millwright with AVL/Solvet, working on-site in SE Calgary, Monday through Friday.

This Industrial Millwright supports production, laboratory, packaging, and facility equipment at Alberta Veterinary Laboratories. The Equipment Technician works with Production, Quality, R&D;, and Facilities to reduce downtime. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting supports secure, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance on production and laboratory equipment
- Troubleshoot failures and complete timely equipment repairs
- Set up, adjust, test, and change over production lines
- Maintain maintenance, inspection, and repair records




- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and modifications

Requirements:

- Mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance training preferred
- Manufacturing equipment maintenance experience preferred
- WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and aerial platform certification
- Fluency in spoken and written English required
