Lead youth programming across Greater Sudbury using recreational activities, physical literacy, and meaningful connections with youth aged 10 to 18. This is a part time contract position.

The Youth Programs Lead works in Recreation Services under a Recreation Co-ordinator. You will support drop in, registered, community engagement, and pop up activities. Programming occurs at various City locations, mainly weekday afternoons and evenings, plus weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee assigned program operations, activities, and participant behaviour
- Provide leadership and support to program staff across sites
- Assist program administration, service delivery, and customer service
- Support staff recruitment, scheduling, training, and evaluation




- Maintain equipment, records, reports, and program areas

Requirements:

- Successful completion of secondary school education
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- One to two years of related experience
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends

Support engaging youth programs through leadership, organization, recreational activities, and effective communication across Greater Sudbury locations.
