As a Claims Advisor on Intact’s Long-Haul Trucking Claims team, you will handle routine and complex claims. The work focuses on coverage, fair entitlements, investigations, and settlements for cargo and environmental losses. You will also collaborate with the Bodily Injury team on significant losses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and fair entitlements
- Communicate respectfully with customers, brokers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers
- Investigate cargo and environmental losses across Canada and the United States




- Settle physical damage and cargo claims promptly and fairly
- Collaborate with Bodily Injury on significant losses

Requirements:

- At least two years adjusting commercial auto claims
- Knowledge of provincial auto insurance legislation
- Expertise handling moderate to complex claims
- Effective negotiation, analysis, decision-making, and time management skills
- CIP designation and Atlantic provincial licenses are robust assets
