Perform soil and water sample preparation and analysis as a Laboratory Assistant with ALS. Use pipettes, centrifuges, and pH/EC meters.

This Laboratory Assistant position supports preparations, extractions, and analysis within ALS laboratory operations. You will generate worklists, prepare reagents, process data, and complete required documentation. Full training is provided, while laboratory experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Retrieve and prepare soil and water samples
- Perform screening, grinding, filtration, extraction, and digestion
- Operate pipettes, shakers, centrifuges, and pH/EC meters
- Complete calibration, maintenance, data processing, and documentation
- Perform quality control and laboratory cleaning procedures

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills
- Ability to work in teams and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and wear required PPE

Support ALS testing workflows through careful sample preparation, equipment operation, quality control, and accurate laboratory documentation.
