JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cafeteria Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support other departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3:30 pm Friday 7 am to 1:30pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Balance cash drawers and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Keep cashier stations, dining areas, and service counters clean and stocked. Replenish beverages, condiments, snacks, and supplies as required.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with light food preparation,



stocking, and cleaning duties when needed.
- Support other cafeteria, catering, or food service departments during busy periods or special events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
